Shahla Bakian Dogaheh

Shahla obtained her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at University of Guilan, Iran in 2015 and completed her M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran in 2021. In her M.Sc. dissertation, she proposed a model to perform automatic sleep stage classification based on physiological signals acquired by the Dreem headband. Shahla started her PhD in Fall of 2021 and is currently a member of the MultiFunkIm and SCNLab laboratories. Shahla's project is entitled: All-night EEG-fNIRS as a novel tool for investigating sleep physiology and its relationship with memory consolidation. Shahla's research interests lie in the area of clinical research on human sleep, predictive analytics, and applying Artificial Intelligence algorithms to sleep data to solve challenges in sleep disorders or neurodegenerative disease diagnosis.
